A group of Brockenhurst students has designed a personalised board game for Fordingbridge Day Centre for the frail and housebound, based in Avonway.
The creative IT students, who have learning difficulties, aptly named the game ‘Avon-opoly’ and presented the game to Margaret Kimberley on behalf of Fordingbridge Day Centre last Friday.
‘Avon-opoly’ was created using six computers which were provided free of charge to Avonway Community Centre by Brockenhurst College. Principal Di Roberts commented: “It is a real pleasure to be able to help our community in this way and very much hope that these students will develop other interesting projects in the future”.
